Autonomous a2z, acquired international standard ISO 9001 certification for the first time as a domestic autonomous driving solution company > News (주)오토노머스에이투지

Autonomous a2z (hereinafter 'a2z'), a company specializing in the development of autonomous driving mobility solutions, announced on the 21st that it had acquired ISO 9001, an international standard for quality management systems, from the ITS Certification Institute.

ISO certification is a system in which the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) establishes international standards applicable to manufacturing and all industrial fields and activities, and certifies them through objective examination and evaluation.

ISO 9001, an international standard for quality management systems, is granted when products and services provided to customers satisfy prescribed requirements and are continuously maintained and managed, to ensure permanent capacity.

a2z manages the entire process from H/W and S/W design and production to delivery and operation of autonomous driving cars that meet customer requirements by securing its own technology for the entire recognition-judgment-control process required for autonomous driving. We are developing and operating a 'Level 4 autonomous vehicle solution' that is also involved in overall system management such as continuous quality control, maintenance, and purchase management.

In addition, a2z builds a business model with a strategy differentiated from existing companies through a full stack solution with not only self-developed autonomous driving S/W with advanced safety, but also H/W engineering expertise ranging from design, manufacturing, and mass production capabilities. It provides MaaS services such as mobility-based robo-taxi and unmanned buses that can be driven on public roads.

In particular, in order to efficiently and systematically manage self-driving data obtained through the most self-driving car demonstrations in Korea, its own data management system called 'add+up' and server room are established to manage it as an optimized system for self-driving development.

'add+up' is a low-capacity and high-efficiency data solution of a2z that stores all data that occurs in autonomous driving as an autonomous driving log file and issue management system, and automatically extracts the data that occurs among them. The development of 'Level 4 autonomous vehicle solution' is being made more efficient by enabling immediate response to issues occurring in the current autonomous vehicle rather than monitoring.

a2z achieved the K-ESG guidelines announced by the Ministry of Industry by sequentially acquiring 'ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 45001 (safety and health management), and 'ISO 37301 (compliance management)', starting with this ISO 9001 certification. By doing so, we aim to establish a sustainable ESG management system.
